The creators of White Lotus Thai Cuisine has a strong family tradition of Thai cooking. Wimolvan Siriyarn developed a passion for cooking food with her mother (Kannika Siriyarn) in Bangkok preferring the spoon to playing with other children in the street. This is in fact the same mother that taught celebrated Chef Chai Siriyarn of Marnee Thai in San Francisco. Co-creator Vilai Singto graduated from culinary school in Thailand before coming to the United States. Her merits were not unnoticed as she reveived the national award “Asian Master of Taste” at Las Vegas in 2007 sponsored by the Chefs America Award Foundation.
