As a child, I fondly remember daily morning visits to nearby outdoor farmer markets where many local farmers sold their produce and meat products. I fell in love with the unpretentious charm of the morning market. My mother's home cooked meals blended perfectly with local vendors' just picked food. I was hooked, inspired to find only the best food everywhere. My passion for delicious fresh food also strengthened my cooking skills, noticeably more than the culinary classroom.
