Vegetables & Desserts In Thai Flod

Vegetables are rarely generallu boiled in the western way. They are stir-fried with garlic and oyster sauce, or steamed and are often eaten with small fried fish and a pungent shrimp sauce. Salads, too, hardly are similar in their western counterparts. A general salad might include beef and chili, plus strips of lettuce and tomato, or green mango, or green mango.

Thailand gives some really delicious desserts. Generally prepared from rice, tapioca or types of jelly, these are mixed with fruit, fresh or preserved, and chipped ice. They give the perfect complement to a rich and spicy meal. Not to be left out are sangkaya gap kanoon, coconut custard with jack fruit pieces, chow-neeo ma-muang, sticky rice with mango and eye-teem kati, coconut ice-cream.

Thai fruits are large in number and variety, but among the best are pineapple, banana, orange, pomelo, mangosteen, rambutan and lychee.
